Melissa Page has been the director of the award-winning Emerald Belles since 1997. In addition to her 23 years of directing the Belles, she has taught the One Voice & Encore Show Choirs and has sponsored the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Carroll Senior High School. She currently teaches on a part-time basis.
Mrs. Page is a born & bred Texan hailing from El Campo, TX. She started dancing at the age of three and she's been high-kicking ever since. She graduated cum laude from Texas State University in 1993 where she was a member of the Texas State Strutter Dance Team, Orchesis Dance Company, and an officer in Chi Omega Sorority. She has received accolades in her profession including being a two-time finalist for the Texas Dance and Drill Team Educator's Association "Director of the Year" and once for "Lifetime Achievement". She has choreographed and coached for college and professional dance teams and currently teaches kick technique classes to The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Page, the Emerald Belles have received numerous national, regional, and state awards over the past 23 years. The Belles were invited to perform for millions of viewers on one of today's largest stages - America’s Got Talent Season 14 and made it to the quarterfinals live show. The team was also the featured halftime performers for the Dallas Mavericks in 2020 and have entertained live and tv audiences for The Kelly Clarkson Show, Dallas Cowboy's Halftime, Good Morning Texas, Kidd Kraddick Show, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Disney World, and Fiesta Texas.
The Belles were named “Best Dance Team” by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, after submitting their 2017 contest kick routine into the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders/CMT/Spirit Celebration Wow! Contest.

Emerald Belles TX
Kathryn Dobrow is the backbone behind the Emerald Belles Drill team handling all the operational and administrative tasks associated with running this extremely large organization. Mrs. Dobrow wears many hats to ensure consistent and smooth implementation of daily organizational procedures needed to run this team. No task is too big for our behind the scenes Super Hero, she has the perfect balance of patience and creativity paired with financial, administrative and logistical expertise to seamlessly run our team.
In addition to managing the Belles, Mrs. Dobrow currently teaches AP and Pre-AP Calculus at Carroll Senior High School and has been the lead math instructor for the Carroll ISD Premier SAT/PSAT Academy since 2000. Since that time, she has served as a testing consultant throughout the state of Texas and has helped many school districts initiate programs to enable their students to increase scores on the College Boards. Mrs. Dobrow has developed a phenomenal math curriculum for TestWise, which has proven to be effective for countless students.
